Denny Ko, founder of a Metropolis Consulting Limited in Hong Kong, is an international residence and citizenship planning specialist and a Commissioner for Oath & Notary for the province of Ontario in Canada.

Denny holds a Law Degree from University of London, United Kingdom.In addition to his academic background, he is also a member of the Immigration Consultant of Canada Regulatory Council (formerly Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants) and the International Tax Planning Association for many years.

Having practiced as a Private Client Advisor since 2003, Denny had acquired substantial experiences and knowledge in immigration and citizenship laws and regulations; as well as pre and post relocation or expatriation tax and wealth planning rules and practices of many popular jurisdictions.

Denny is also the Founding Partner as well as the Managing Director of Henley & Partners Hong Kong Limited, and established the first Asian office overseeing the entire Asian region from India to Japan; including major markets like PRC, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Cambodia, etc.

Apart from the Private Client Advisory role, Denny had also played major roles in Institution Training for many professional service providers such as Private Banks, Investment Banks, Private Equity companies, Trustees, Family Offices and other delegates in his specialized areas.

In 2013, the first Chinese version of the Global Citizenship and Residence Handbook was published to which Denny is the co-author. This handbook is highly regarded as the «Bible» of the industry by practitioners all over the world.

Denny is also a frequent speaker in many industry related seminars, forums and conferences; such as the Henley & Partner’s Annual Global Residence & Citizenship Conference held in November every year since 2010, the Private Client Wealth Forum Asia held in May every year since 2010, and Citizenship and Residence by Investment Forum organized by Immigration firms as well as financial institutions in PRC, Hong Kong and Singapore.
